We are looking for a Sr. Engineer-Estimation (Electrical) reporting to Sr. Manager- Estimation in a leading MEP Projects and Multi-technical Services Company, Electromech Infraprojects Pvt Ltd.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1)      Acknowledge all RFP and RFQ enquiries. Ensure that details of all projects such as scope, location, size, consultants, etc. are populated in the internal tracker by the Jr. Engineer

 

2)      Study the drawings, BOQ, technical specifications, commercial terms, etc of the project in detail. Raise timely and appropriate queries to the client and follow up for response. 

 

3)     Raise enquiries to all the suppliers/vendors from approved make list and extended database. Follow up with all vendors until all quotes are received.

 

4)     Undertake estimates in accordance with Company procedures and bring for discussion with Sr. Manager and Management before submission to client. 

 

5)     Submit RFP as per client guidelines. Detailed list of deviations and remarks to be added in the submissions

 

6)     Comparisons of all supplier rates to be made and shared on Company drives. Negotiate and follow up with suppliers.

 

7)    Assist  Sr. Manager Estimation  for larger tenders, mentoring and developing junior estimators

 

8)     Identify opportunity and risk during tender process

 

9)    Assist in  developing a tender win strategy alongside the business unit teams

 

10)    Liaise with the business unit, Sr. Estimation Manager to agree methodology and principles

 

11)   Develop multi discipline concepts, detailed and definite cost estimates for company capital projects.

 

12)   Prepared technical proposals in collaboration with other relevant departments.

 

13)   To ensure Cost Forecasting and Control.

 

14)   Support technically in review of design packages and drawings.

 

15)    Obtain feedback from site teams on estimating adequacy and current costs

 

16)    To work in close coordination with Estimation, Procurement & projects Team

Qualification & Preferred Skills:

 

              I.       BE/Diploma Electrical with 4 years of experience

 

            II.       At least 1 year recent experience in Testing and commissioning of transformer, cable hipot, Breaker must.

 

          III.       working in MEP projects and shutdown maintenance will be an added advantage.

 

         IV.       Excellent communication skill and confidence in work.

 

           V.       Teamwork & Leadership skills preferred

 

         VI.       IT Skills – MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint.

 

        VII.       Familiarity wi documentatith Google Workspace is preferred.
